Art French has 34 years of experience managing institutional equity portfolios ranging from specialized, small-cap strategies to broad-market mandates.

Prior to founding Pillar Pacific (formerly Pillar Point Equity Management) in 1999, he was Chief Investment Officer for Pillar Point Capital Management, Vice President & Director of Equity Management for First Interstate Bank, and Vice President for Loomis Sayles. Art began his career at Citibank, where his roles included managing a large public equity fund
and acting as Executive Secretary of the Small Company Investment Committee.

Art holds an AB from the University of California at Santa Cruz and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder and a Chartered Investment Counselor.
